When i was installed manila 2d application on my HaTCi Nike Touch Dual, i found some error that manila 2d cannot be installed on my HaTCi, huh. And then i tried to grand pa google to find some solutions for it. I found some solutions, commonly, manila 2d can be running on windows mobile 6.1.
After checking my device information of my HaTCi NTD, and it appear have still not windows mobile 6.1 but windows mobile 6.0, hmmm, it’s not right yeah…
I was searching ways of installing windows mobile 6.1 on my HaTCi.
In some forum of pocketpc like xda-developers, it just need to updating ROM version, and then download latest update ROM version for my HaTCi at HTC Site’s.
After download finished, my HaTCi was connected on my Lepi. O ya, before update ROM version, i wish back up your data firstly, because your data in your phone will be reset.
BTW, step for updating ROM version on HTC Nike Touch Dual P5500 here:
- Connect your phone to your pc with active sync.
- Run installer software, all process will be automatically by installer, just follow instructions and click Next/OK/Continue buttons.
- Wait for some times while updating progress, and click finish if progress finished.
- Your phone will soft reset (restart) automatically.
- Just do it, and you can try windows mobile 6.1
After updating ROM version (Windows Mobile 6.1), yes, finally, i can installing manila 2d on my HaTCi.
